Safeguarding Policy

Let’s Go-Let’s Go is committed to safeguarding and protecting children and young people. We fully accept responsibility for the wellbeing and safety of all children and young people who are under our care.

All children have the right to protection from all forms of abuse and exploitation and it is the duty of all staff and volunteers, paid or unpaid at Let’s Go-Let’s Go, to safeguard children and young people by creating an  environment that protects them from harm. This policy also extends to all third-party providers and participants of Let’s Go-Let’s Go.

The  wellbeing  of  children and  young  people  is paramount  for  all  staff  and accordingly,  they must make themselves aware of Let’s Go-Let’s Go Safeguarding Policy.

A child/young person is defined as a person under the age of 18 (Children’s Act 1989).

All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
